Itinerary
Learn the basic brushwork and how to write kanji. You will use authentic calligraphy tools, such as a brush, ink, and Japanese writing paper. At the end of the class, you will make your own original work that you can take home as a souviner.
After learning the history of kanji and some basic advice on how to write them you will practice basic brushwork. Towards the end of class, you will choose your favorite word or character. The instructor will create an example for you to follow when you are creating your own work. You will write your final copy on paperboard. You will sign and seal your own and only creation and take it home with you. Packing materials are avaliable for use.
