Sendai Asaichi shotengai: There is everything – seafood, vegetables and deli goods, at this morning market in front of Sendai station. Enjoy shopping in this lively atmosphere. You can also eat cuisine using fresh ingredients.

TOHOKU Standard Market: A shop with a full collection of Tohoku region and Sendai city’s produce and desserts that you will rarely find at other locations! How about buying souvenirs at this shop?

A long-established store that first coined the name “Sasakamaboko” or “Bamboo Kamaboko” for Sendai’s famous fish paste which is shaped like a bamboo leaf. Freshly baked Kamaboko is crispy outside and fluffy inside. You will not be able to stop eating once you try it! You can experience baking “Bamboo Kamaboko” yourself. Let’s try baking our own “Sasakamaboko”.

A gelato shop that is popular enough to wait in line for. They have regular flavors such as milk and green tea, as well as 3~5 seasonal flavors. The colorful storefront showcase will make your hungry. Which flavor will you choose?
