Stop At: The Site of Reversible Destiny Yoro Park, 1298-2 Takabayashi, Yoro-cho, Yoro-gun 503-1267 Gifu Prefecture

A rare spot where you can experience a new kind of art using your body. Unlike other exhibitions where you look at canvases, the entire park area is designed by artists where you can physically experience art.

Let’s take a short break at this souvenir shop/restaurant halfway up the waterfall. We recommend Gifu’s speciality Gohe-mochi (rounded sticky rice cake with sweetened soy sause) and soda pop made using the waterfall’s water. You can also eat Udon noodles and rice bowl dishes. You will enjoy having conversations with the friendly people working here.

The spring water found in this shrine is certified by the country for its top water quality. There is even a legend of water turning into sake. Enjoy exploring the fabulous nature.

The main purpose of this tour, is the beautiful waterfall which is 32m high and 4m wide. There is an anecdote describing an emperor 1300 years ago who was so impressed at the beautiful Yoro Falls and ended up changing the name of the era!
