Beyond Japan’s four major breweries—Asahi, Suntory, Kirin, and Sapporo—there are also numerous local breweries nationwide. Chigasaki Beer is one of these, renowned for its original craft beers that use locally sourced ingredients to create unique, rich, and fruity flavors.

Their brewery and restaurant, located right by the beach, offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, and on clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of Japan’s iconic Mt. Fuji! Join us in exploring Japan’s vibrant beer and food culture. Your licensed English-speaking guide will accompany you on the journey, starting with a relaxing ride in the first-class Green Car on the Tokaido Line from Tokyo Station.

The tour guide will pick you up at most hotels in central Tokyo. If your hotel is not listed, please let us know, and we may still be able to arrange a pick-up.

You will then board the Tokaido Line at Tokyo Station and enjoy a 60-minute pleasant train ride in the super comfortable Green Car (first class) carriage.

After being picked up from your hotel in central Tokyo, you’ll embark on an exciting ride on Japan’s high-speed Shinkansen, also known as the Bullet Train, from Tokyo Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. On a clear day, you might catch a stunning view of Mt. Fuji through the train windows, making the experience even more memorable.

Chigasaki is a famous beach town and a sister city of Honolulu, Hawaii. We will explore some narrow streets lined with cozy shops around the train station. The guide will also show you a charming Japanese-style garden.

After visiting the garden, we’ll take a local bus to Southern Beach and visit Chigasaki Beer, a local brewery located right by the beach. First, we’ll learn how they brew a variety of craft beers, and then you’ll get to taste seven different flavors at their restaurant. You can also enjoy a wide selection of dishes that pair perfectly with their beers (food not included). The restaurant offers an incredible view of Sagami Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and on a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji in the distance! Let’s enjoy their delicious, fruity, original craft beers!

After enjoying the beer and food, we can take a short walk on the beach before heading back to Tokyo via bus and the Tokaido Line. Let’s relax with another comfortable ride in the Green Car. Upon arrival at Tokyo Station, the guide will accompany you back to your hotel using a local train or subway.

• Due to weather condition or other operational reasons, the itinerary may be subject to change or certain visits may be omitted or substituted. Even in such circumstances, the tour may not be canceled, and the tour fare will not be refunded.
• The tour involves a good amount of walking outdoors. We suggest wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes.
• Important Note: We only serve alcoholic drinks for travelers 20 years old and above. Minor travelers below 20 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.
