Nestled at the foothills of Mount Fuji, Oshino Hakkai is a place where tranquility intertwines with natural beauty. As you wander through the village, you’ll encounter eight crystal-clear ponds, each with its unique charm and character. The surrounding area is adorned with traditional thatched-roof houses, further immersing you in a bygone era. These houses have been repurposed into shops and eateries, offering local crafts, snacks, and the chance to experience the village’s rich heritage.
