Itinerary
Enjoy crafting your very own traditional Japanese chochin lantern in Asakusa, the center of sightseeing in Japan.
First, our staff will introduce real chochin and its history.
After learning how to make it, draw your favorite characters and designs.
Write your name using hiragana, katakana, kanji, etc.
After painting and lettering, you can turn on an electronic candle inside and light the chochin. (additional charges apply)
The staff will explain how to carefully assemble your lantern.
Lastly, the staff will help you take a commemorative photo. (Please bring a camera.)
Take home your original creation as a souvenir!
