A traditional Japanese residence built in the Meiji era. Currently, it is donated to Shiraishi City and used as the exhibition hall to introduce traditional Japanese paper called “Shiraishi Washi”.

Zao Sake Brewery: This brewery is an exhibition hall managed by a brewery maker. Founded in 1873, it brews once a year from November to March and produces sake from locally grown rice and clear water.

Katakura Family Buke Yashiki: A designated cultural property in Miyagi Prefecture. It is a small samurai residence by the waterway that can be walked from Shiroishi Castle. There is a place where you can get down to a waterway that can be used even now, and you can see how it was actually used as a place of living in the Edo period.
