Shinjuku City Trip Overview

Upon the departure, you will visit Mt Fuji 5th Station, the most well-known station at Mt Fuji. Stroll around the area and enjoy.

After lunch we will visit Owakudani, where the volcanic soul of Mt. Hakone can be felt. If you want you can taste the famous Owakudani black eggs!

You will descend to Lake Ashi via ropeway, with an awesome view on Mt. Fuji and the lake area in clear days.

Finally, you will join a cruise on Lake Ashi. Enjoy the fresh air and scenery around the lake!

You can choose to return to Tokyo by bus or by riding the bullet train from Odawara Station. Also. if you have a ryokan stay reserved in Hakone, you can get off the bus at Hakone Yumoto Station.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Narusawa-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0320 Yamanashi Prefecture

If on the tour day Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station in not accessible due to road or weather conditions, we will visit the highest station possible. When the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, we will visit the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center, the Oshino Hakkai village, Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi or Hana no Miyako Park at Lake Yamanaka. Also, due to traffic conditions and timing reasons, some stops might be skipped completely. We will although try to respect the standard schedule as much as possible.

Depending on the snow conditions, it also may change to the visit of Mt. Fuji 1st to 4th Station.

***Please note that on June 12th 2022 the Subaru Line will be closed to traffic and we will not visit any of Mt. Fuji’s stations.***

*The Hakone Ropeway and the Hakone Pirate Ship on Lake Ashi might not operate due to various reasons. We might visit an alternative spot (also to respect the schedule in days characterized by heavy traffic) such as Lake Kawaguchi (cruise), Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, Lake Ashi Boat Cruise, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Checkpoint, Hakone Shrine, etc.

Cruise on Lake Ashi and enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji from the ship deck when it is sunny!
