Shinjuku City Trip Overview
On our 1-day tour you will ride on our privately organized bus from Shinjuku in Tokyo right up and around this great mountain and the beautiful natural spots that have arisen from it.
With a theme based around Mt. Fuji’s effect on nature in the area, this tour will not only provide you with breath taking views and scenery of Mt. Fuji but allow you to dive directly into this famous mountain’s history.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture related to Mt. Fuji and visit a Japanese Shinto shrine where your friendly guide will teach you about Japanese religions and the role of Shinto shrines.

Our first destination after arriving to the Mt. Fuji area will be at Arakura Sengen Shrine and park where you can enjoy on the best views of Mt. Fuji with the 5 story pagoda! Your guide will also teach you about Mt. Fuji’s history and Japanese religions and how to pray at a Japanese shrine.

Stop At: Mount Fuji, Chubu
After lunch we will first take a brief stop off at a gorgeous wine cellar where you can try a variety of Japanese wines!

Stop At: Oshino Hakkai, 151 Shibokusa, Oshino-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0511 Yamanashi Prefecture
Our second destination is Oshino village which is famous for the natural water springs coming from Mt. Fuji. If the weather is particularly good, you can even see beautiful reflections of Mt. Fuji in the different fresh water springs for that extra special photo! You can also try drinking some of the fresh natural spring water from the source! After enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of this traditional Japanese folk village and it’s surrounding natural water springs, it’s time for lunch!

Stop At: Shiraito Falls, Kamiide, Fujinomiya 418-0103 Shizuoka Prefecture
Last but definitely not least, we will visit the World Heritage site of Shiraito Falls and also Otodome Falls, where the negative ions will refresh and revitalize you! The whole area around Shiraito Falls is almost like a scene out of Jurassic Park, so get ready to snap some photos too before heading back to Shinjuku.

We’ll have lunch at a restaurant right in front of Lake Kawaguchiko where you can enjoy the views of Lake Kawaguchiko.

After that get ready for the opportunity to explore the Narusawa Ice Cave made by ancient lava flows from Mt. Fuji over a 1000 years ago!!
