Stop At: Entsu-in Temple, 67 Chonai Matsushima, Matsushima-machi, Miyagi-gun 981-0213 Miyagi Prefecture
The first cultural experience of the tour is a rosary-making experience! Let’s make your own one of a kind rosary at a traditional temple. A rosary is said to have the same power as reading the sutra when you put it on. It will be a good souvenir and also bring luck after you get home!

Stop At: Zuiganji Temple, Chōnai-91 Matsushima, Miyagi District, Miyagi 981-0213, Japan
A temple with a history of 1,200 years! There are gorgeous paintings on sliding paper door and other ornaments at the main hall of the solemn temple. It is so beautiful that it seems more like a castle than a temple! Feel the beauty and solemness of the temple which is a natural treasure!

The second cultural experience spot where you can cook your own fish cake yourself! Hot and fresh fish cakes are awesome! There is no many places where you can have the iconic Sendai food: Sasakama, sort of fish cake, that is still hot! You will cook it in a save way so don’t worry to get burned on your hands!

The symbol of Matsushima. It is a spot where you can have a panoramic view of Matsushima bay! You will cross a beautiful vermilion watermark bridge! It will be a thrilling experience since the by is right under your feet and you can see it through the steps!

A observatory where you can have a panoramic view of Matsushima. It is a spot with a superb view but is not very popular among tourist so take your time and enjoy the great view!

A café popular among locals and tourists from all over the world! Their specialty is castella which are made from perfect ingredients and recipe. You will like the fluffy texture and exquisite sweetness!

The third cultural experience of the tour: making a “Kokeshi”, a traditional wooden doll unique to Tohoku area. You can learn how to make “Kokeshi” from a craftsman! It will be perfect for a souvenir!
