Next, in Naganuma Town, you’ll have the unique opportunity to try “Tamago Kake Gohan” (rice topped with raw egg) for the first time. Start by visiting a poultry farm to collect freshly laid eggs. With these eggs, you can try making Tamago Kake Gohan on a private deck while enjoying the view of the fields. If timing allows, you might also get to taste vegetables harvested from the fields. If you feel the meal is insufficient, you can purchase additional food at a nearby roadside station.

Finally, savor wine on a private deck within the winery, overlooking Japan’s second-largest plain, enhancing your Hokkaido adventure with a touch of elegance.

In Naganuma Town, you’ll visit a poultry farm where you can enjoy freshly laid eggs and then experience vegetable harvesting at a nearby farm. The vegetables you pick can be eaten on the spot. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a traditional Japanese dish, “Tamago Kake Gohan” (rice topped with raw egg), using the fresh eggs. Afterward, you’ll visit a local shop to explore and discover Naganuma Town’s specialty products.

At Housui Winery, you can enjoy the scenery of the vineyard along with the winery and the on-site shop. In addition to purchasing wine and touring the winery, you can also buy soft serve ice cream from a building just outside the shop. The soft serve, topped with a sauce made from grapes used in wine production, is highly recommended.

The road in front of the park is lined with approximately 470 poplar trees stretching for about 7 kilometers. Although time is limited, we will make a brief stop so you can take photos and enjoy the scenery.

You will enjoy a luxurious moment on a private deck, overlooking the Ishikari Plain, the second-largest plain in Japan. As you watch the sunset, you can savor fine wine and cheese, making for an elegant and unforgettable experience.
