We then visit the historical house of the business successful Yamaguchi Family and finish with an authentic Knife Shop, the Mizuno Blacksmith, where we will visit the forge and can also purchase high quality handmade Japanese cooking knives directly from the blacksmith.

Ride with us through a very lovely park. Depending on the season, enjoy flowers, possibly cherry blossom, Momiji (Japanese maple leaves). Beautiful piece of nature.

Enter the Sakai City Museum and learn a lot about Japanese culture and history. Discover Sakai, one very amazing city in Japan that most people do not think of visiting. Possibly, try on an old armour and take a nice pic for your friends.

Enter a traditional knife shop, meet a member of the Mizuno family, the fifteenth generation of blacksmiths in the family. Discover all you ever wanted to know about the Japanese knives making process. You can also buy knives directly at the shop.
(The owner might not be available for a visit of its forge as he does not follow a set schedule. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience if it happens, and will take you to another very popular Japanese knife company, the Cutlery Jikko, as a bonus).
