The oldest temple in Otaru. They have one of the biggest “Mokugyo”, a wooden drum used in a Buddhist temple, which has a diameter of 1.35m and weighs 330kg! It is 6 times bigger than a normal one. No doubter that you will raise your fortune with this huge “Mokugyo”!

Stop At: Herring Goten Otaru VIP Hall (former Aoyama villa), 3-chōme-63 Shukutsu, Otaru, Hokkaido 047-0047, Japan
They have the pot which is said to have improved the diet of Japanese and brought prosperity. We won’t talk too much about it but one thing is for sure. It is a very rare spot that you won’t be able to find anywhere!
