Hiroshima Private Guided Tour from Osaka or Kyoto

In this tour, we leave from Osaka to visit Hiroshima for a day.

We first visit the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial. We have a moving and important testimony of the Second World War and we leave strengthened in our pacifism… So that it never happens again.

Then, we go to Miyajima to see the Itsukushima Shrine and its important torii on the sea. Shika deer and nature also await us there. We can get a breath of fresh air! That’s wonderful.

The Genbaku Dome is a poignant testimony to the atomic bomb that hit Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. This building is still partially standing. We pass by and can reflect there.

We walk in the Peace Memorial Park between the Genbaku Dome and the Hiroshima Peace Museum.

We visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, an important and moving testimony to the Second World War and the atomic bomb that fell on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.

We take the ferry to Itsukushima island. We can admire all the surroundings on the Seto Inland Sea.

The Miyajima Omotesando shopping street welcomes us and we can have lunch there.

The island of Miyajima and its Shinto shrine Itsukushima is famous throughout the world especially for its gate, the large torii positioned on the sea. We visit this shrine and learn more about the history and religion of Japan.

We walk to the torii of the shrine if it is low tide.

We walk in Omoto Park. This is the best opportunity for us to meet shika deer and interact with them.
