Osaka Castle has been familiar to people in Osaka as icon or a symbol of Osaka. Originally built over 400 years ago, the castle suffered a series of damages due to battles, fire because of lightning etc. The current main building was reconstructed in 1931. A beautiful 55-meter high, 5-storied main building is towering majestically within a large area of 1 million square meters, surrounded by deep moats and gigantic stone walls. You will be amazed at how solidly this castle is made.

From the top floor, you can overlook the entire city of Osaka and Osaka Bay as well.
