During the Edo Era, Nishio Castle was the epicenter of the Nishio’s domain, since the economy of the castle village prospered due to the production of rice and tea in the area.
We will learn from our expert local guide about the rich history of the city of Nishio through a pleasant walk　around Nishio City Historic Park and afterwards, we will enjoy a unique Matcha tea experience.
The Matcha experience is held in an authentic Tea Room which in the past belonged to the Japanese aristocratic kin group of Konoe. Its ample space and its magnificent views of the Japanese garden will allow you to relax in harmony and enjoy the calming effects of the Matcha tea.
