Nikko Toshogu is a shrine where the first Tokugawa shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu, is enshrined. It is the general headquarters of Toshogu in Japan, and the official name is “Toshogu”, but it is called “Nikko Toshogu” to distinguish it from other Toshogu.
