What to Expect When Visiting Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Japan

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival into Tokyo Narita International Airport

Pass By: Narita, Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Kanto
Arrival into Tokyo Narita International Airport, where a representative of Amaztravel will bring you to the hotel (hours of shuttle operation 10:30-21:30). Your local guide will be present to assist with the hotel check in. If you miss the last shuttle (depart at 22:30), please proceed to hotel at your own expenses. For guests arriving at Haneda Airport, please make own arrangement to the Hotel.

Day 2: Tokyo Sightseeing

Stop At: Imperial Palace, 1-1 Chiyoda, Chiyoda 100-8111 Tokyo Prefecture
After breakfast, transport to the Imperial Palace-residence of the royal family of Tokyo. Visit to the Nijubashi Bridge (which means the double bridge)
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

Stop At: Senso-ji Temple, 2-3-1, Asakusa, Taito 111-0032 Tokyo Prefecture
Then proceed to Senso-ji Buddhist Temple in historic Asakusa district. Nakamise-Dori Street is the main approach to this ancient temple, and all along the road are traditional shop fronts for souvenir items and snacks.

We will conclude the day’s tour with a visit to Ginza where Tokyo’s most famous department stores, entertainment district, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes.

Day 3: Tokyo – Hakone – Hamamatsu

Stop At: Mount Fuji, Chubu
After breakfast, we will head towards the foothills of Fuji Mountain, visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station or Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center.

Stop At: Oshino Hakkai, 151 Shibokusa, Oshino-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0511 Yamanashi Prefecture
Visit Oshino Hakkai, a historic natural attraction comprising eight ponds that are all that remains of a former sixth lake dried up several hundred years ago. Next proceed to Gotemba Peace Park, which is known as one of the best spots for sightseeing in the district. After a short walk in Heiwa Park, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. There is also a Japanese garden with a pond located in the park. Tonight, we will enjoy all the facilities of the hotel and the varieties of hot springs spa.

Day 4: Hamamatsu – Kyoto

Stop At: Yasaka Shrine, 625 Giommachi Kitagawa, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto 605-0073 Kyoto Prefecture
After breakfast, we will drive to Kyoto and visit a jewelry workshop and see the work of a craftsmen. Then you will transfer to Kyoto, visit Yasaka Shrine and Nishijin Textile Center.

Stop At: Gion, Kyoto 605-0074 Kyoto Prefecture
Next, we will proceed to Gion. Gion is Kyoto’s most famous geisha district, filled with shops, restaurants, and ochaya (teahouses). The most popular area of Gion is Hanami-koji Street from Shijo Avenue to Kenninji Temple. The street and its side alleys are lined with preserved machiya houses many of which now function as restaurants.

Day 5: Kyoto – Nara – Osaka

Stop At: Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 1-294 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto 605-0862 Kyoto Prefecture
After breakfast, we will visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kiyomizu-dera a Buddhist temple founded in 778AD, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633 by order of Tokugawa Iemitsu.

Stop At: Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, 68 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto 612-0882 Kyoto Prefecture
In the afternoon, we will proceed to Fushimi-Inari Taisha. Fushimi Inari Shrine is an important Shinto shrine located in southern Kyoto. The highlight of the shrine is the rows of torii gates called Senbon torii.

Stop At: Nara Park, 469 Zoshicho, Nara 630-8501 Nara Prefecture
we will proceed to Nara.Park.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, Chuo, Osaka 542-0085 Osaka Prefecture
Following, we will arrive at Shinsaibashi in Osaka for some shopping. Dotonbori is filled with theaters, restaurants bars, cafe and nightlife. It is near the hotel, so please enjoy at your leisure.

Day 6: Osaka – Home City

After breakfast, our guide will assist you on the airport shuttle to Kansai International Airport (shuttle fee at your own expense), where you will depart on your flight back home as you conclude your marvelous journey through Japan.
