Let’s enjoy a stroll through the peaceful forest around Kasuga Grand Shrine. The bright vermillion buildings, old stone lanterns, and hanging lanterns make a great background for pictures. Of course you can enjoy the deer peeking out from behind lanterns here too!
The five-storied pagoda of this temple was built about 600 years ago. It is constructed out of thick logs joined together in a splendid and dynamic way.
