The view from the observation tower 82m above sea level is superb.
First, ride on an automated driving cart with a voice guide and aim for the observation tower. In the audio guide, you will find explanations about Kouri Ocean Tower facilities and Kouri Island.
When you enter the tower, you can see the Shell Museum, which displays shellfish from all over the world. You can enjoy watching about 1500 types of shellfish over 10,000. Shell accessories and sundries are also sold at the adjacent shell shop.
The first floor of the observation tower displays materials about Kouri Island, the second floor is a cafe offering Kouri-made pumpkin sweets, the third floor is an indoor view, and the fourth floor is an outdoor view. Please go up the elevator and enjoy the scenery.
After enjoying the scenery, it becomes a tourist complex where you can use “Shop & Factory” and “Restaurant Ocean Blue”.
