A historical temple built in 1609.
The first British legation was stationed in this temple in 1859 and was used for nearly 7 years until the tragedy when it was attacked twice.
Within the grounds, you can feel the chaotic Japanese history as well as the quietness.

A branch of the world heritage Koyasan temple located in Wakayama prefecture.

A temple where Ako Gishi, a samurai loved by many Japanese, rests peacefully.
