Start your tour at the easy accessible Shinagawa Station. 10 minutes, admission is free.
Duration: 15 minutes
Pass By: Odawara Station Tourist Information Center, 1-1-9 Sakaecho Arc Road, Odawara 250-0011 Kanagawa Prefecture
Arrive at Odawara Station in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park by bullet train and transfer to local bus.
Stop At: Hakone-machi, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, Kanto
Take a stroll along one of the few remaining sections of the old Tokaido road, constructed in the early 17th century. Walk along the exact same route that travellers did hundreds of years ago.

Stop At: Lake Ashinoko, Hakone, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0521 Kanagawa Prefecture
Soak in the breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji from the sightseeing cruise across Lake Ashi and learn about the Hakone Shrine that looks out over the waters.

Hop on the Hakone Ropeway for an incredible cable car gondola ride, to travel up Mt. Hakone and see another view of Mt. Fuji.

Stop At: Owaku-dani Valley, 1251 Sengokuhara, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0631 Kanagawa Prefecture
Enter the ‘valley of hell’ where sulfurous fumes are expelled from the active volcano (don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe!) and try some legendary black eggs cooked in the local hot springs.

Stop At: Hakone Gora Tourism Information Center, Gora Station, Gora Hakone Tozan Railway Gora Ekimae, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0408 Kanagawa Prefecture
From the volcano summit, we will travel again on the Ropeway and then transfer onto the Hakonetozan Cable Car – a railway system built into the mountains where you can enjoy the peaceful views of the surrounding area.

Stop At: The Hakone Open-Air Museum, 1121 Ninotaira, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0493 Kanagawa Prefecture
The final stop on the tour is the Hakone Open Air Museum. Here you will be indulged in Japan’s first-ever open-air museum where art and nature are together as one. You will learn about and see works by renowned artists such as Henry Moore and Pablo Picasso.
