This is a great opportunity to experience a cultural activity with a deep Japanese history.
We will share an authentic Tea Ceremony in a room decorated with traditional flower arrangements and hanging scroll. We give full explanations in English or Japanese.
Depending on the number of guests, the experience will run for about 60-90 minutes.

Our Tea Ceremony is led by an accredited Tea Teacher from the Omotesenke school, born and raised in Kyoto. We can help you understand the correct manners for Tea and we offer with insights into the Way of Tea. After our class you will understand how to enjoy matcha tea at home too!
We have organized our Tea space so it is accessible to anyone. You will sit on chairs, rather than kneel on tatami. It’s suitable for children and the elderly and is wheelchair accessible. We are the member of Kyoto City Tourism Association.
