Why choose this Kyoto tour ?
Join us for a unique journey at Fushimi Inari Shrine, where ancient traditions come to life. In Japan, it’s customary to offer prayers during significant life moments, seeking blessings for safety and health.
During this tour, participants will have their wishes acknowledged as we present their name, address, and company name at the grand altar for a personal prayer experience. Following this, enjoy an enchanting kagura performance featuring traditional dances by shrine maidens.
Explore the stunning sights of Fushimi Inari Shrine, home to the famous Senbon Torii, where thousands of vibrant red gates create a mesmerizing path up Inari Mountain. Established in 711, this shrine is the head of approximately 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan.
As you ascend, encounter numerous otsuka and fox statues, revered messengers of Inari, the deity of prosperity and household safety.

What makes Fushimi Inari Taishas Prayer and Kagura Experience a unique experience ?
Purification at the Temizuya
Long ago in Japan, people performed misogi, a ritual of body and spirit purification in rivers. Although simplified now, this remains the first act of purification before shrine visits.
Prayer Ceremony
We offer prayers for prosperous business, abundant harvests, and household safety for all group members (or individuals for private options).
Naorai
After rituals, enjoy a taste of sacred omiki (blessed sake) and a shared dish of tekkahin, provided as a token for the group.
Kagura Performance
Kagura is a ceremonial dance inviting the gods. You will watch this dance up close, near the shrine maiden.
Thousand Torii Gates
Your interpretation will lead you through Fushimi Inari’s famous 10,000 red torii gates.
For private prayers or groups larger than 15, please contact us for arrangements.
