I learned to wear kimonos as a child from my parents, who are dressing teachers.But since wearing kimonos can be difficult, I always thought about ways to change the practice, in order to make kimono-wearing easier for people.After studying Japanese Embroidery at an art college, I created a kimono-remaking ceremony, and have been selling my work online for over three years.

Itinerary

First we’ll get to know each other with a short round of introductions. Then you’ll select an antique kimono from my collection, and learn how to remake it into a new kimono, using various methods such as attaching tape and string with an iron or sewing buttons on the collar.
