This ancient capital place also aims to be registered as UNESCO World Heritage in 2024 as “Asuka-Fujiwara: Archaeological sites of Japan’s Ancient Capitals and Related Properties”.

Furthermore, unlike other cities, Japanese urbanism is well respected. We can visit an old town as it was during Edo Period (1600-1868) between all the historical sites. This Edo atmosphere is also worth it.
