Stop At: Kamikawa Town Tourist Exchange Center, 142-47 Kaji, Kamikawa, Kanzaki District, Hyogo 679-3112, Japan
Kamikawacho Tourism Center: This is a tourist information center that sells souvenirs of Kamikawacho. You can also purchase the town’s famous bottle of water here. You can also rent a bicycle here and start cycling.

Stop At: Niino no Suisya, Niino, Kamikawa-cho, Kanzaki-gun 679-3114 Hyogo Prefecture
Nino Water Wheel: This is a waterwheel that has existed for over 300 years. This waterwheel has been rebuilt thanks to the strong desire of residents. Today, there are 11 waterwheels in operation at any given time, and the sight of them is a nostalgic sight that symbolizes Kamikawa Town.

Stop At: Fukumoto Heritage, Fukumoto, Kamikawa, Kanzaki District, Hyogo 679-2415, Japan
Fukumoto Remains: This site is located on a small hill in the Ichikawa. In Kamikawacho, remains from about 13,000 years ago to the Nara period have been found one after another. It is known as a complex site with remains spanning multiple periods. It is a very rare and valuable site designated as a prefectural cultural asset.

Silver Carriage Road Information Center: This facility displays materials related to the history and culture of Kamikawacho. You can learn more about the former highway called the Silver Bashamichi, which was used only for horse-drawn carriages.

Nakamura Awagacho area: This area was once a farming area and later developed as a post town on the highway. In the Meiji era (1868-1912), a silver carriage road was built and the area prospered as a transportation hub. Today, there are many efforts to revitalize old houses, and you can enjoy walking through the historical landscape of a mixture of townhouses and farmhouses.

Horakuji Temple: This is a historic temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect. The temple is known for its main hall, designated as a cultural asset by the prefecture, and many other cultural assets designated by the town. The temple is also called “Banshu Inu-Ji” because of the anecdotes related to dogs.
