Zeniarai Benten Shrine is a popular shrine in Kamakura, which people visit to wash their money (zeniarai means “coin washing”). It is said that money washed in the shrine’s spring, will double.
Genjiyama Park is surrounded by lush nature and features a slope that is one of the seven historic cuttings in Kamakura. Within the park, you can also find the statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder and the first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate.
Eisho-ji Temple is the only nunnery in Kamakura. We will visit the temple and take a pleasant walk through the serene bamboo forest.
