The Izu Shaboten Park offers many attractions and things to do. The park offers 1500 different types of Shaboten (cactus) from within Japan and from all over the world. You can step in the greenhouse where they are grown or you can join a cactus caring course.
The park is also a zoo and is home to many animals such as the Capybara. There are also animal shows and a animal boat tour (at your own expense) that you can hop on and observe the surrounding animals in their environments.
