Itinerary

Japanese calligraphy is an artistic form of writing with a brush and ink to express your mind.

As a traditional visual art, people look at the calligraphy and appreciate the beauty and impressions of characters and their means.

Like paintings or other writings, you have only one chance to write with a brush. The brush strokes can not be corrected or even rewritten.

When you practice calligraphy, you usually need to sit straight on the floor and concentrate,

but in this plan we provide tables and chairs as you may find it difficult to sit on the floor.

Our school is located in central Hiroshima and is easy to access, come stop by on your visit to this area if time betweens your visiting programs.

As a memory of your Hiroshima trip, join our special Japanese calligraphy experience offered by a professional instructor.

You can take home the brush you used during the class.

You will write kanji characters on the plain folding fan and you can also take it home.
