This tour is a good match for people of average or better fitness who are up for a day of moderate outdoor activity. A support car and driver will accompany the tour so if you get tired you can ride in the car. Your bike will also be transported so you can resume cycling when you wish.

Your guides will be native English speakers. They also speak and read some Japanese but aren’t professional interpreters. One guide will ride a bicycle and lead the tour. The other guide will drive the support car.

Visit the oldest shrine dedicated to Mt Fuji where your guide will demonstrate the rituals of Shinto, the national religion of Japan, that even non-believers are welcome to perform when visiting a sacred site. You’ll have the option to follow along and try them, if you like.
