Stop At: Tokyo Station Marunouchi Ekimae Hiroba, 1-9, Marunouchi, Chiyoda 100-0005 Tokyo Prefecture

Start the tour with a stop at the Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station. The old red bricks building that survived the war is still one of Tokyo’s main landmarks today.

Stop At: Imperial Palace, 1-1 Chiyoda, Chiyoda 100-8111 Tokyo Prefecture

Next, make a brief stop at the Imperial Palace grounds and listen to an introduction to Japanese history. Take a picture in front of the guard towers that remain since the Edo period, when a huge castle town was standing on the same grounds.

After leaving the Imperial Palace and Japanese history behind, head towards Akihabara, Tokyo’s main hub for pop culture and entertainment.

Next up, stop on the banks of Sumida River to take pictures of one of central Tokyo’s most famous views, with Tokyo Skytree, the Asahi Beer Hall and the Flamme d’Or in a single picture!

The fourth stop of the tour is Ueno Park, where Kaneiji, one of Tokyo’s biggest temple used to be. Here you can learn more about Tokyo’s past from your guide since history defining battles took place here.

The next area you will be going through is Kappabashi, a shopping street famous for its multitude of shops selling kitchenware and its interesting building architecture.

Stop At: Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, 2-18-9 Kaminarimon, Taito 111-0034 Tokyo Prefecture

From the open terrace Observation Deck on the 8th floor of the Center, you can get a good view of the Kaminarimon and Nakamise street.
From there, you will be asked to visit Nakamise street and Senso-ji on your own while your guide will be watching over the electric scooters. (30 min)

Enter the beautiful Nakamise Street through the famous Kaminari-mon gate and enjoy a leisurely stroll while trying out some of the local sweets sold left and right.

The 250 meter long Nakamise street will lead you right to the entrance of one of Tokyo’s most famous landmarks: Senso-ji, the city’s oldest temple. Take a few minutes to appreciate the architecture and impregnate yourself with the spiritual energy of this holy place before trying out an omikuji fortune telling if you would like to.
