Stop At: Tokyo Station Marunouchi Ekimae Hiroba, 1-9, Marunouchi, Chiyoda 100-0005 Tokyo Prefecture

Tokyo Station: The tour departs from Tokyo Station. As you exit the station from the central exit you can admire the station building from the front in the station square. Let’s enjoy its dignified appearance!

Stop At: Wadakura Fountain Park, 3-1 Kokyogaien, Chiyoda 100-0002 Tokyo Prefecture

This is located inside the Imperial Palace grounds. This is built to commemorate the marriage of the Emperor and Empress, and will be remodeled on the marriage of the Crown Prince. The 3 water fountains are very impressive!

Stop At: Sannomaru Shozokan (The Museum of the Imperial Collections), Japan, 〒100-0100 Tokyo, Chiyoda City, Chiyoda, 1−1 皇居東御苑

Arts and crafts donated by the royal family are displayed here. Well known national treasure works of art are stored here, today there are 8,000 items. It is not open for display, however if you have the chance to enter, you will be amazed by the number of artworks.

Stop At: The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle Ruin), 1-1 Chiyoda, Chiyoda 100-0001 Tokyo Prefecture

A Japanese Garden made along with the Imperial Garden, here you can enjoy the seasonal changes. There are also historical sites where you can feel the remains of the former castle. One of the popular spots is Hirakawa Bridge located just outside of the garden.

Stop At: Fomer Headquarters Japanese Imperial Guard Division, 1-1 Kitanomarukōen, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 102-0091, Japan

The first National Art Museum in Japan, located inside the Imperial Palace. Many artworks from around the 20th century in Japan and overseas are on display. Make sure to see the artworks by the Japanese masters.

This is a cafe in the park. Let’s take a break here for a moment. The homemade hamburger made with 100% Wagyu beef patties is superb.

There is a spacious and open lawn. There are a wide variety of plants and trees around the lawn creating a unique ecosystem within the Imperial Palace.
