First, indoors, our nature guide will give a lecture on the fascinating mosses around Otaki. “How does it live without roots?” “Is there a mysterious relationship between moss and the birth of mankind?”
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Tateshina Otaki Fall, 4035 Kitayama, Chino 391-0301 Nagano Prefecture
You will take a walk through the virgin forest to the Otaki waterfall. You will also show you the water flowing through the Otaki Falls and the weir, which has been designated as a World Natural Heritage Site.
Use the observation kit to observe the movement and ecology of living moss.
Arrive at Otaki. Be healed by the sound of the waterfall and negative ions.
Trekking along the mountain path! You will break up when you get back to the meeting place.
