1 Day Aomori Winter Streetscape and Nebuta Lantern Making Tour

On this tour, spend a day experiencing “neputa,” Aomori Prefecture’s summer tradition, as you lay your eyes on large neputa floats paraded in the Aomori Neputa Festival and create a lantern by reusing neputa paintings actually used in the festival. Customers will surely be fascinated by the vivid colors of Aomori’s nebuta floats. Families traveling with their kids in tow can feel free to join as a hired car is used for transportation. The tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.

At Craft Factory IRODORI, Experience making a lantern reusing neputa paintings that were actually used at the festival. Neputa paintings to be used are those that are removed when the floats are dismantled.
